The chip industry is experiencing a new wave of disruptive innovation. Imec is a leader in microchip technology and is tackling fundamental challenges in riding this wave by leveraging its capabilities to develop next-generation technologies such as hardware-driven AI and molecular engineering.

Mathijs Zandbergen will take us behind the scenes to help us understand how Imec innovates, how it helps companies and startups commercialize their innovative technologies, and how Imec has built an ecosystem to support this type of innovation globally.

Mathijs Zandbergen is responsible for strategic partnerships in the US for Imec. HQ’ed in Belgium with 12 offices spread across 3 continents, Imec performs world-leading research in semiconductor, nanoelectronics and digital technologies. As a research institute, it leverages its own global  infrastructure and a global ecosystem of partners across a multitude of industries, to support companies to create groundbreaking innovations from deep-tech research to ASIC manufacturing.
