We are delighted to invite you to our next TechTonic event with the topic of ‘Gender Diversity in Early stage Tech: The Challenge and the Opportunity’.

Oxford Brookes University in collaboration with the University of Oxford and Vitae have undertaken a project to identify barriers and enabling factors that exist for women in STEM in key stages of the spinout process. Although the report focuses on spin outs, the issues are familiar to many female founders working within tech-centric companies. Please click here to find out more.

Our latest event will begin with Professor Simonetta Manfredi discussing some of the preliminary findings of the project followed by a curated discussion about what we can do locally and nationally to meet the challenges identified by the report, as well as a conversation about where the research could go next.

RSVP:  Please email Lizzie Uzzell on luzzell@jamescowper.co.uk or call her on 0118 9551057 if you would like to attend.

Stay tuned to hear about our further initiatives for the year at: https://www.techtonic.org.uk/home
