The forthcoming Global Entrepreneurship Monitor 2020/21 Women’s Entrepreneurship Report, to launch on 16 November, highlights a significant uptick in growth-oriented female entrepreneurs worldwide. There is an increasing number of women surveyed who expect to hire six or more employees in the next five years. The report also highlights how women entrepreneurs have been impacted by the pandemic as well as different regional trends.

On 18 November at 15:00 GMT, we will be providing analysis on our report launch webinar. The speakers are:

– Amanda Elam, GEM Researcher, Research Fellow at Babson College’s Diana International Research Institute and the lead author of the GEM 2020/2021 Women’s Entrepreneurship Report
– Wingee Sampaio, Global Program Director of Cartier Women’s Initiative
– Wendy Teleki, Head of the Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative
– Funkola Odeleye,  Co-founder of DIYLaw

Aileen Ionescu-Somers, GEM Executive Director, will moderate the webinar.
