Having developed two software companies, MD of OION, Richard Cooper will give you the inside track on pitching and angel funding in a new, post-COVID funding landscape. And, Benjamin Storey from Eagle Labs will look at access to funding and support available to start ups and growing businesses.

Richard Cooper, MD, OION Ltd
Richard is the Managing Director of OION Ltd. He has been working with early-stage companies for the past twenty years, both in the UK and Australia in both a funding and business advisory capacity. Having developed two early-stage software companies himself, he has advised hundreds of early-stage companies to develop their growth strategies and raise them funding as a result. Richard has an MSc in Marketing from the University of Leicester and post graduate qualifications in applied finance and project management. Richard also has a CFA Certificate in Investment Management and the foundation course in Private Equity from the Australian Venture Capital Association.
Benjamin Storey
Key Clients, Industry & Performance Lead, Barclays Business Bank . Having joined the bank back in 2011 on the Barclays Corporate Graduate scheme, Benjamin has held a variety roles across relationship management, credit analysis and latterly supported the banks innovation teams through the Eagle Labs proposition. Day-to-day he runs teams which support high growth businesses across the UK to grow and scale.
