Wendy Tindsley, Oxford Innovation

With a scientific background, Wendy Tindsley has worked for Oxford Innovation for several years delivering Government funded business support programmes. Wendy currently provides business support to early-stage companies at several Innovation Centres in Oxfordshire. She has many years’ experience of coaching and mentoring innovative start-ups and scale-ups and is well networked with many stakeholders and partners across Oxfordshire and the wider region. As well as running her own companies, Wendy has fund-raising expertise, founded a start-up accelerator programme and has worked as Business Development Manager for a high-tech growth company, providing data services into the biopharma industry.

Matt Francis, The Oxford Trust

Giles Orr, Oxford Brookes University

Giles Orr is Head of Business and External Engagement at the Oxford Brookes Business School. Previously he was Director of Education at the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) following a number of senior roles in the education sector. Giles is a Chartered Public Finance Accountant, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Leadership, an MSc in information systems and a BA in hotel and catering business. He is currently working on developing the Business School’s support for local organisations, with a particular focus on Scale Up businesses.
