The acclaimed Portuguese-English painter Paula Rego is known for her strong, unflinching subject matter, often bringing attention to injustices levelled at women.

Rego’s work is characterised by distortion, strong colours and relies on folk themes from her native Portugal.

Join Alice Foster to celebrate her work on International Women’s Day on 8 March 2023.

This talk will take place onsite at the Museum and online via Zoom. Booking is essential and tickets are £8.
