About this Event

Join the next Make Your Ideas Happen webinar on the importance of building the right team.

CAUKIN Studio is a group of architectural designers who educate stakeholders in design and construction skills through the completion of community buildings, pop up installations and permanent structures all over the world.

People are at the core of our organisation – both in our team, collaborators and end-users. With this in mind, assembling the right people to work with is a key factor for a successful project. We have worked in 7 countries over 4 continents and have completed design and construction projects varying in scale from pop up installations to full schools, community halls and healthcare facilities.

CAUKIN believes that everyone should have access to, and be able to benefit from practical and beautiful design. Design is often considered as a luxury, with many spaces and places built with no design input or without the correct construction knowledge. This is heightened in marginalised communities, frequently leading to inadequate and poorly built spaces. By working with communities, international participants, specialist consultants, and NGOs we facilitate a democratic design and construction process which culminates in a built project, which everyone learns and benefits from.
