We offer a variety of programmes to support female founders at any stage of their business development. Female founders accepted into a Breakthrough Labs programme get access to a range of research-backed offerings that address the specific issues shown to impact whether or not their businesses will succeed.

Access to experts with proven success: Breakthrough Labs’ programmes follow the start-ups’ journey and include workshops from subject-matter experts and seasoned entrepreneurs in areas relevant to start-ups’ needs.

Connections with investors: Start-ups spend a lot of time reaching out to investors who might not be interested in their offering. Breakthrough Labs provides access to angel investors who are committed to investing in female founders and ready to listen to your pitch.

A growing network: Research shows that fewer female founders have access to a professional network than their male counterparts. Breakthrough Labs is a community of female founders, successful entrepreneurs, mentors and industry experts who can provide support to female founders.
You are eligible to apply if your start-up…

• Is founded or co-founded by women.
• Has a viable technology product or service in any sector.
• Has fewer than 40 employees.
• Is preparing to pitch for funding at pre-seed or seed level.
• Has a product prototype or MVP, at a minimum.
• Is EIS/SEIS eligible.
