About this event
Aspect Festival21 celebrates members of the Aspect Community who over the last three years of Research England Connecting Capability Fund (CCF) funding have worked together to support innovation, entrepreneurship and research commercialisation in the social sciences.
Aspect members, consisting of 21 higher educational institutions (and growing), sit at the epicentre of discovery, imagination and progress in the social sciences. Bringing together pioneering academics with innovative industry leaders, Aspect Festival21 examines how the social sciences, arts and humanities are tackling the most complex societal challenges of our time.
Over the course of two days we’ll be deep-diving, workshopping and networking around the barriers to research commercialisation; engaging businesses; stimulating impactful entrepreneurship, and exploring the unique opportunities of commercialising the social sciences, arts and humanities to build a brighter, more inclusive future.
We’ll be joined by leading voices, thought-leaders and trend-makers, with the odd special guest and performance or two, with further details to be announced drop-by-drop across our social channels. So register now and (unless you prefer the surprise) follow us on Twitter or LinkedIn @aspect_network.
We want to make this event as accessible and inclusive as possible. We may be able to provide specific access support such as live captioning and BSL; please let us know your requirements and we will review what we can provide via the platform we are using for this digital event. Please email hello@therevelsoffice.co.uk to discuss your access requirements by 24th May, so that we can make necessary arrangements.
