The Programme Manager for Research & Insights will play a key role in facilitating the impact of the Skoll Centre’s research portfolio and supporting and growing a network of researchers focused on social impact. This is an exciting time as the Centre seeks to draw together academic insights and the delivery of high value educational programmes for social impact practitioners. We seek a team member who can navigate and communicate across both these worlds and lead the critical work of ‘translational’ practice.

The post-holder will add value to academic work by maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and boosting knowledge exchange through seminars, convenings, blogs, case studies, videos or graphics. The Programme Manager will iterate and implement two core programmes to support emerging social impact researchers across Oxford. The Skoll Centre Early Career Research Fellowship selects advanced DPhils or recent Postdoctoral researchers to become part of a knowledge exchange network. The Research Accelerator Grants programme offers small grants to Oxford-based researchers to contribute to the Centre’s social impact research agenda. Additionally, the post-holder will work with faculty on the Centre’s key research initiatives such as the Systems Change Observatory.

To be considered at shortlisting you must be able to demonstrate experience with academic research and communicating research insights to a diverse audience. Candidates will value environments that place importance on collaboration and have experience working with individuals from different communities of practice. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to cultivate a learning experience through the curation of a range of activities and events. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

All applications are to be made online. Please submit a CV and cover letter as part of your application.

The closing date for applications is 12 noon on 2 December 2019
