On behalf of A.O. Smith, Badger Meter, Xylem, and Watts Water, The Water Council is seeking innovative solutions for water quality sensing inline at a pipe without the need for grab samples. IoT enabled technologies (both wired and wireless) are of particular interest.
The solutions may be complete systems, algorithms, or concepts by talented individuals with the focus on optimization of operation, condition assessment, conservation, leak detection, and water quality controls.
Prospective technologies can come from entrepreneurs, university students or researchers, water professionals, private sector or just inventive individuals. Selected applicants will compete for a top prize of $10,000, with potential for joint commercialisation and access to sponsoring companies’ R&D expertise.

The Water Council is seeking innovative solutions for water quality sensing inline at a pipe without the need for grab samples. IoT enabled technologies (both wired and wireless) are of particular interest.

The solutions may be complete systems, algorithms, or concepts by talented individuals with the focus on optimization of operation, condition assessment, conservation, leak detection, and water quality controls.

Hardness
Pathogens
