Many of the innovative ideas, products, and services that the world needs today struggle to scale up for many reasons. However, time and time again, we know one of the main reasons is finance – and the lack of access to it.
Building on three successful years of conferences, this March, the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) in collaboration with Oxfordshire Greentech, the county’s business network for the low carbon economy, and its sister network Cambridge Cleantech, will bring together experts and investors who specialise in helping innovators flourish. Together we aim to support you in better understanding the process for obtaining funds from a variety of sources.
The programme will be split across two days, looking at start-up and seed funding on day one, to acceleration and Series A funding on day two. Both days will be made up of presentations, pitching, informal networking, and a facilitated speed dating session between innovators and investors.
Our speakers will include Innovate UK, Zero Carbon Capital, and OION, one of the oldest and largest angel investment networks in the UK.
Enterprising Oxford is a University of Oxford initiative to help connect people to the entrepreneurship resources they need, and to promote entrepreneurship across Oxfordshire.
