The introductory workshop focuses on the key issues which occur when dealing with export enquiries and orders, discussing subjects such as the benefits of export and differences from domestic business. It will demonstrate legal, financial and logistical obstacles and how to mitigate these risks as well as how to trade safely overseas.
This practical workshop is designed to help you refine your strategy and plans, and network with other businesses taking the same exporting journey as you. It will cover topics such as: Marketing your export proposition Overseas market research Main routes to market Protecting and exploiting IP Key and common elements in international contracts Pricing and costing for overseas markets
Eligibility: Places are limited to two delegates per company and must have been trading for a minimum of 12 months. You must be looking to increase your overseas market access. Delegates should be exporters or those new to exporting and is not suitable for agencies or intermediaries for example: translation agencies, web developers/agencies, international business development agencies etc.
