Book your ticket for Curiosity Carnival on Friday 29 September - a unique opportunity for people of all ages and interests to enjoy an amazing programme of activity across Oxford. The event is a huge festival of curiosity across the University of Oxford’s museums, libraries, gardens and woods.

Live experiments, games, stalls, busking, debates, music, dance, a pub-style quiz and all sorts of activities spilling out onto the streets. It is your chance to find out what research is really all about, meet researchers, ask questions and discover how research affects our lives. CURIOSITY CARNIVAL ENTRY TICKETS Curiosity Explorer Ticket FREE Fri 29 Sept 19:00 - 22:00 Explore how researchers use time and space to think about what makes us and the universe tick; take a journey from the inside of your cells to distant planets. There will be dance, art, talks, demonstrations and a living library of researchers on loan. Your Curiosity Explorer ticket will give you access to the Ashmolean Museum, Weston Library, Pitt Rivers Museum and Museum of Natural History. Book via the green register button in the top right corner. Botanic Browser Ticket FREE Fri 29 Sept 15:00 - 19:00 Discover the weird and wonderful things living and hiding in the Botanic Garden and step into a wonderland where things just get curioser and curioser. Your Botanic Browser will give you access to the activities at the Botanic Garden Book via the green register button in the top right corner. Wytham Wanderer Ticket FREE Fri 29 Sept 14:00 - Sat 30 Sept 12:00 Come and enjoy this area of ancient semi-natural woodland that is used for environmental research. There will be badger-watching, a bat walk, moth trapping, star-gazing and overnight camping (additional booking required for some of these activities – see below). Your Wytham Wanderer will give you access to Wytham Woods (near the village of Godstow OX2). Book via the green register button in the top right corner. With Suzy Sheehy 21.00 - 22.00 Lecture Theatre, Museum of Natural History FREE Accelerate! is an exciting, live-action lecture all about particle physics - from the thousands of small machines which are used in medicine and industry, to the enormous 27 km ring of the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland. Note: you will need to book a free Curiosity Explorer entry ticket, in addition, to attend this activity.
